Who its for
Two sides of the same marketplace.
Im hiring
Put a role where people can read it.
- Name the position, the town, and the kind of work.
- Show pay offered in KES, with a period if you set one.
- Leave a Kenyan number if you want WhatsApp or a call.
Im looking for work
Put your skill where someone can find it.
- Name the work you do, where you are, and when you are free.
- Show an expected rate in KES, separate from pay offered on jobs.
- Add a photo if you want. It is optional, and only for people available for hire.
On Jobs today
What the open product already does.
-
Search that stays simple
Look up a role or a skill, then narrow by town. Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, and remote are one tap away.
-
Jobs and people, apart
Openings and people offering skills stay in two lists. A job does not ask for a profile photo.
-
Money, labelled
Pay offered on a job. Expected rate on a person. Numeric amounts use KES. A period appears only when one was given.
-
WhatsApp or a call
A valid Kenyan number on a listing you saved can open a message or a call. An invalid number gets no contact link.
-
Three steps to list
Choose a job or a person, describe the work, then add contact and review. Edit the details without losing what you already typed.
-
Yours to change
My listings edits or removes what this browser saved. Clearing the browser can remove it. Another device cannot bring it back.
-
A photo, if you want one
People available for hire can add a picture. It is resized in the browser. Online worker photos are not available yet.
-
The kinds of work
Creative, hospitality, transport, domestic work, technology, retail, and construction. Pick one and the list narrows.
Built for the way you work
Find opportunities. Work better together.
- Find opportunities. Discover work or reach people with the right skills through Jobs.
- Connect directly. Turn an opportunity into a real conversation and a clear next step.
- More tools ahead. Mail, Docs, and CRM are planned to help organize the work that follows.
Who is ZolaHub for?
People hiring and people looking for work in Kenya, plus the tools around that work. Jobs is open. Mail, Docs, and CRM are not open yet.
Will other people see my listing?
You can save a private copy in this browser. When online submissions are enabled, email-confirmed users can submit a listing for review. Only an approved listing becomes publicly visible.
Do I need a CV, an account, or a photograph?
A browser-only listing needs neither a CV nor an account. A photo is optional and only for a person offering work. Public submissions require a verified email. Online worker photos are not available yet.
Can I change or remove a listing?
Yes. Open My listings in the same browser and edit or remove it. Clearing browser data can remove saved listings, and another device cannot recover them.
How do pay and contact work?
Jobs show pay offered. People show an expected rate. Numeric amounts use KES, with a payment period if one was provided. A valid Kenyan number enables WhatsApp and call links on your own saved listing.
Does ZolaHub take payment?
This version does not collect payments, and it does not process the hiring itself. Agree the work and the rate with the other person. Plans are listed on the jobs app, and checkout is not open.
Where will Mail, Docs, and CRM live?
On mail.zolahub, docs.zolahub, and crm.zolahub. Those addresses are the plan. They are not open yet, and this page does not sign you up for them.
